The Lilypepper Story
I'm Michelle Taylor, owner of Lilypepper Boutique.
I originally started this boutique as an online women's boutique because I live in an area where it is difficult to find places to shop. I was tired of traveling to bigger areas to shop while paying designer prices for nicer quality items.
I realized that I was shopping online more & more often. Then, I was introduced to Poshmark and started selling my used personal clothing on their site. I liked it so much that I decided to start my own my own boutique, which became Lilypepper Boutique.
After a couple of months online, working expos & personal appointments, I decided that I really needed to open a brick & mortar store. Everything fell into place when a space in my town opened up. I am so excited to be working in the town that I live in and to help revitalize our downtown by giving women another option to shop. I try to bring good quality, on-trend styles at an affordable price to my customers. I love providing good customer service, getting to know my customers, and making them feel great.
Now, we have added an small online store that is seperate from our nbrick & mortar store. If you see anything in a photo that is not in the online store, just call our shop and inquire.
Shopping should be a fun girly experience and I love helping to style people when they need help in putting together outfits.
Since opening on May 5th, 2018 the business has been a success. I have gotten to know so many women! The store has been so well received and I am proud to have added another place for women in our downtown.
So, stop in and say hi next time you are in downtown Charlotte, Michigan.
